Since 2008, we have sought to bring high-quality Bible teaching to and foster Christian fellowship among the men of North-West NSW.
Men@Glen originated with a small group of blokes who would travel from Glen Innes to men’s various conferences In NSW and QLD. They appreciated the chance to join in fellowship with other men as they sat under quality Bible teaching together. Yet these conferences often necessitated several hours of driving simply to attend.
Desiring to see others experience the benefits of these conferences, yet often unable to rustle up more than a carload of attendees, the question was put to them, “Why not do something about it?” The result of that question was that a speaker was found, and about 180 blokes gathered at the Glen Innes showground for the first-ever Men at Glen.
A lot has changed since that first event as we have grown and learned, but our fundamental aims have remained the same. We still seek to bring high-quality Bible teachers to the North West, and foster Christian fellowship among the blokes in attendance.

Our Goals at Men At Glen
is to nurture and enhance the faith of Christian men in regional areas by organising a conference of exceptional quality. We are committed to achieving this goal through the following initiatives:
DELIVERING QUALITY BIBLE TEACHERS:
We believe that the Bible is God’s word to us and is able to make us wise for salvation, and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (1 Timothy 3:15-16).
Each year a gifted Bible teacher leads us through a theme or book of the Bible with the goal of helping men draw out the implications of what God is saying to us about life in His world.
FOSTERING FELLOWSHIP:
Our next conference will be held on the 28th February 2025. We hope we’ll see you there!

Truths Which Change the World
We live in a time of fake news and among a culture that cries out for meaning. Thankfully, out of his abundant mercy, God has given us timeless truths which have changed our world. In these three talks we will look at what God teaches about finding forgiveness, having a firm faith, and seeing the worth of God’s Word. By looking at the lives of the sixteenth-century figures Martin Luther, Lady Jane Grey, and Thomas Cranmer, we will see how these are mighty truths which continue to change our world today.
Talk 1 – Martin Luther: Finding Forgiveness
Talk 2 – Lady Jane Grey: A Firm Faith
Talk 3 – Thomas Cranmer: The Worth of the Word
Scott Wright
Co-founder of Men@Glen and CEO Angus Australia
Scott will talk on his Christian journey, what it means to walk with Christ in the real world, making mistakes and doing life. From God tapping him on the shoulder in Singapore in 1996 to becoming winemaker and most lately a CEO, Scott is passionate about walking with God in the real world despite making mistakes.
Scott is married to Julie, and has a son Stuart and daughter Courtney. Scott and Julie live on a small property at Glencoe and have small commercial beef cattle herd. Scott has a passion for ministry in Rural and Small churches. Theologically, Scott is Reformed in thinking and yet is so blessed to see Gods hand at work in the world around us.
He loves regional Australia and is dismayed at seeing empty churches across our countryside. Scott is a member of St Andrews Presbyterian Church in Glen Innes and once in a while stumbles through the odd sermon. Scott loves holidays in North Queensland, Chardonnay, both reading and writing when he is able.
Favourite bible books are: Ephesians, Joshua, 1 & 2 Samuel and James.
